Also, we want you to know that even though you’re a first grader now you can ALWAYS come back and say hello to us. We’ll miss you!
We encourage you to continue some of the homework/distance learning activities that you’ve been doing with your child over the summer to help them retain what they’ve learned for first grade. Some suggestions are:
- read books with your child
- have your child keep a journal
- practice reading the kindergarten sight words and three-letter words with common vowel sounds such as bat and dig
- Imagine Learning
- iReady (Students will be able to access their iReady accounts until July 17)
