Journal Prompt:

What tools do we use to eat with? Write about a new tool you could invent or create to eat with.

Today’s Grid Activities:

English Language Arts:
Have your child practice reading these words. Next, without allowing them to see the words, have them practice spelling them.      Fat, rod, rap, fed, rip, red, fan, rest, fast, lip
Math:
Adult writes two numbers. Have your child circle the number that is more. After a few times, switch and have your child circle the number that is less.
Science:
Talk about tools we use to eat (spoon, fork, knife, chopsticks). Invent (draw or make) a new tool to eat with.
Social Studies:
What should you do when you see a classmate who is struggling with something?
Parent: talk about different scenarios with your child.
